Since I was young, trains have always fascinated me. The power, the scenery, and the technology they exude have captivated my imagination. When I discovered the artistry and creativity involved in model railroading, through my late grandfather, I knew I had found my true passion.
Building my own HO Scale Model Railroad has been an incredibly rewarding experience. It has allowed me to combine my love for trains with my creative spirit, bringing to life a miniature world that pays homage to the iconic CSX Railroad. While my layout is based loosely on this historic route, I have infused it with my own personal touch and unique vision.
From the moment I started this project, I immersed myself in research, studying maps, photographs, and historical documents to ensure that every aspect of my model railroad captures the essence of the CSX Railroad. Through careful planning, meticulous detailing, and countless hours of hands-on work, I have created a layout that reflects the rich tapestry of landscapes, structures, and operations along this route.
